Finaly getting to "The Keycon Halloween Social" October 25, 2003
Well I finaly made it to a Keycon Halloween Social!! Two years late!! Lets back up a bit. Back in 2001, when I first told my daughter about the "Aunt" she didn't know she had, I was planning to attend the Keycon Halloween Social! However, I also chose to open up to my GF, which didn't go over to well:-( Consequently, I was in no mental state to attend the social. The following year, it just didn't work out either, since the social was to be held in a bar and my daughter had not yet turned 18. So this was the year!!
Earlier on in hte year, I was out with my daughter in drab doing some shopping. Well, as luck would have it, I found at a clearance store the very "Witch" costume that I had been looking at when I commented to her "I'd bet I'd make a pretty convincing "GIRL", and her response was "Go ahead, I don't have a problem with crossdressers!" And it was only $ 6.99!!
This year, I was so excited about the social, since so many of the people who would be there, my ex and her husband, my daughter and her friends, and girls I used to work with would be there, and who have met Sabrina before, it was going to be a lot of fun!
October 25th arrived and this time I was prepared!! I was ready by 9:30 PM, dressed in my "Witch" costume, complete with 5 inch stilletoes! (Yup, just had to show my ex that wearing heels all night long isn't so bad <giggle>) I got to Club Happenings around 10:00 PM and met my daughter and her friends and my ex. The first order of business was to buy some tickets for the silent auction and make some choices. The evening was a lot of fun and much of my time was spent on the dance floor..Yes, in my 5 inch heels!! Plus, there were "photo ops"

As the evening neared the end, it was time for the silent auction draws. I was fortunate to have won "TWO" prize packages, which only meant I got to prance across the dance floor in my heels a second time!
