Shopping Day with the Girls
I had Tuesday, February 10, 2004, off and had planned a shopping day with Vanessa, Chantal and Krystal!! I met up with Chantal & Vanessa at Lady Godiva Boutique, and got a call from Krystal saying she would be running late and would call when she got to the mall.
I finaly got to wear a sexy red mini skirt that I had purchased from Garage Clothing a while ago, so that with a black T-shirt and high heeled boots completed my look. Chantal wore a short pleather mini skirt and top with boots, adn Vanessa was wearing pants (how boring) <LOL>
We got to Polo Park Shopping Center and parked in my favorite spot, out of the wind. You know, it's the "hair thing". As always, it was a lot of fun walking through the mall with our heels clicking proudly on the tile floor. After checking out both levels, including Payless Shoes, we got a phone call from Krystal! We figured we'd be meeting her at the doob but oh no, she was already in the mall in Sears. However, something was definatley wrong. She was browsing the "men's department"<LOL>. Ok, so I guess it is common to see a woman shopping in the men's department, but I have to admit, it kinda felt out of place.
We checked out the clearance racks in Sears and Chantal found a realy nice jacket which she just couldn't leave behind. Krystal had to leave after only a short while since she had an appointment with her "haridresser" So Chantal, Vanessa and I kept on browing the mall. I found a very short black leather mini skirt in La Chateau and raced to the dressing room to try it on. It fit like a glove and I just had to buy it. I mean a girl can never have too many mini skirts now can she??
Now it was time to hunt for some dinner before the Masquerade meeting so off we went and left the mall. On our way to our vehicle we noticed a guy following us. Well, his first comment was how pretty we were. He was very polite and started asking questions like where we meet and did we do this often, and said he too had been crossdressing for years but never in public. WOW! To further answer his questions, I gave him the URL for Masquerade and my e-mail address. After we left, we thought that was so cool! Being read in the mall by a "Sister"!
Our next stop was for food so Chantal directed us to a place she knew on St. James Street. Kinda funny how I think when I'm out en femme. I took one look at the menu and didn't see one thing I could eat without messing up my face!! So I settled for a bottle of juice instead. Probably a good idea since I'm trying to loose a little weight! After dinner it was off to the Masquerade meeting and another fun evening out with the girls!
