Out & About "Billie Jean's Visit"..

Friday, April 23, 2004, I got to meet another wonderful girl whom I had
first met in TG Chat!. The first was my "Date", Foot Lover, then Diane
and Thensilkblue, and now Billie Jean from Saskatchewan.
A few weeks before she got to Winnipeg Billie Jean wrote to me about her trip and hoped to arrange some "girl time" while here. Well now, us Winnipeg girls can't turn down an offer for an evening out, so after a few e-mails we arranged that Friday would be the evening to get together. Billie Jean was going to be traveling with her SO and they had graciously offered to host a party at their hotel suite before heading out to Club 200 to watch Charm perform in the drag show.
As luck would have it, I was done work in time to "get pretty and of course since we'd be doing some walking in downtown Winnipeg, I just had to wear a mini skirt!!
Billie Jean and I had met the Tuesday before in guy-mode for a coffee, chit chat and a short shopping trip. She was so excited since she had found herself a "LIttle Black Dress" when out shopping at Dots earlier in the week!
Since Club 200 was only one short block away from the Place Louis Riel hotel, I parked half way and made my way to Billie Jean's hotel! The buildings in the area have very reflective windows at ground level, so the walk to the hotel was very exciting! You know the rule.."Never get between a crossdresser and any reflective surface" <LOL> It was just before dark and the cool night air felt so good on my legs.
When I got to the Place Louis Riel hotel, the lobby was packed, mostly with their aboriginal clientele. It was so thrilling, waiting for the elevator, then riding up to the 18th floor!! Out being a girl and having places to go!
Billie Jean's SO, "L", met me at the door and I got to meet Billie Jean
in her sexy "Little Black Dress"! Jacilynn had helper her with her makeup
and she was enjoying her girl time! Rhiannon, Krystal with her SO Silver
were already there. Shandi, Vanessa and Charlene showed up a short while
later. Billie Jean and "L" had put on quite a spread of food, including
wine and soft drinks too!
By 11 PM, it was time to walk over to Club 200. I'm sure there had to be a few chins dropping in the lobby as all us tall girls in mini skirts left the building<giggle>
As luck would have it, the show hadn't started yet and we found a perfect table near the stage! "L" arrived a little while later, then Mary from Lady Godiva Boutique showed up as did her staff member, Charlene, and her partner.
The drag show was a "Comedy" theme and was a lot of fun. Shandi's wife, "Charm", did a skit as "Kermit The Frog" with Miss Piggy in her "Itsy Bitsy Bikini :-) The other performers were also very good too. The performances ended with Stephanie getting hit in the face with a PIE!! After all, the best way to end anything wonderful is with pie!
